No, A lift kit can only void parts of your vehicle's factory warranty related to the suspension system that are directly affected by the modification, but it doesn't void the entire warranty; if a problem arises with a component not related to the lift, the manufacturer could still cover it, always check your vehicle's specific warranty details and consult your servicing dealership for clarification, for aftermarket warranty providers check with said company about coverages related to modifications. Many of the brands we install have lawyers on staff to fight any manufacture warranty claims that should not be turned down.

Limited warranty on all other repairs of twelve (12) Months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.  For a period of twelve (12) months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first, at our discretion we will repair or replace any parts which we determine are defective at no cost to our customer in lieu of or in addition to the foregoing, we will reperform any labor, which we determine was performed incorrectly at no cost to our customer.  All repairs must be performed in our service department.

Limited warranty on Alignment of three Months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first.  For a period of three (3) months or 3,000 miles, whichever occurs first, at our discretion we will re-perform any labor, which we determine was performed incorrectly at no cost to our customer.  All repairs must be performed in our service department.

We do not offer any warranty on tire tread. However, select tires do come with a manufacture warranty. We also are able to sell a road hazard protection plan.

We offer a wide verity of financing options. We have companies that do no credit check, soft credit checks, or hard pulls. All have various pros and cons. Some of the companies that we partner with are: Snap, Affirm, American First Finance, Acima, Koalafi, Klarna, and Sychrony!

We do perform Saturday installs! However, we run a half staff in the shop so space is limited and availability goes QUICK!

Yes! you can supply your own parts. However, we find that in most cases customer supplied parts either do not work with their vehicle or there are missing components. Due to the frequency of this we do charge an additional fee to install customer supplied parts. Something to put additional thought to; in the event there is a warranty issue with the parts installed on your vehicle. We find manufactures often expedite and work with us (Central Alps) better than the general public due to our relationship with them.

Texas is actually one of the most permissive states. There is no specific limit on suspension lift, body lift, or frame height for most trucks.

That’s why you see some pretty extreme builds driving around. But the truck still has to meet other laws. Even though the lift itself isn’t capped, other measurements must stay within legal ranges:

Overall Vehicle Height

  • Maximum height: 13 feet 6 inches from ground to top of vehicle.

Headlights

  • Must be 24–54 inches off the ground.

Taillights

  • Must be 15–72 inches off the ground.

Vehicle Width

  • Maximum 8 ft 6 in (102 inches).

If a lift causes lights or dimensions to fall outside those limits, the truck can fail inspection or get ticketed.

As long as the truck is below 13' 6"

Absolutely!

Liability insurance covers damage you cause to others

Your liability coverage pays for:

  • Damage to someone else’s vehicle
  • Their medical bills
  • Property damage

That coverage still applies even if your truck is lifted. A lift kit doesn’t automatically void liability coverage.

But the lift can affect how the insurer rates your policy

Some insurers may:

  • Slightly increase your premium
  • Ask about vehicle modifications
  • Re-classify the vehicle as modified

This depends heavily on the company.

Where lifts can matter legally

If you get into an accident and the lift made the vehicle unsafe or illegal, the insurance company could argue:

  • The modification contributed to the accident
  • The vehicle was not compliant with safety laws

This typically only becomes an issue if:

  • The lift is extreme
  • The truck fails state requirements (lights, tires sticking out, etc.)
  • The lift was improperly installed

The bigger risk: not disclosing the modification

If you install a lift and never tell your insurer, the company could claim material misrepresentation when renewing or paying a claim.

That usually doesn’t eliminate liability coverage, but it can complicate claims.

Simple summary

  • Liability insurance still works with a lift kit
  • Your premium might change slightly
  • You should disclose the modification
  • The lift must still comply with Texas vehicle laws
